Google Analytics

Adds the Google Analytics web statistics tracking system to your website.

The module allows you to add the following statistics features to your site:

• Selectively track certain users, roles and pages
• Monitor what type of links are tracked (downloads, outgoing and mailto)
• Monitor what files are downloaded from your pages
• Cache the Google Analytics code on your local server for improved page loading times
• Custom variables support with tokens
• Site Search support
• AdSense support

Known issues

• Token: The minimum required Drupal 6 version is 6.x-1.14, but for some technical reasons 6.x-6.16 (or latest DEV) is highly recommended. For Drupal 7 the minimum required version is 7.x-1.0-beta1. Token module is optional for GA, but if installed you need at minimum this versions or you may experience the issues documented in #1035030.
• Ubercart: You need to stay with GA 2.x until Ubercart 6.x-2.5 has been released. Latest DEV also supports GA 3.x.
• Drush: Update to GA 6.x-2.3 or later fails. See Drush updatecode should fork to a backend process to avoid problems for more information. Recommendation: Update manually once or update Drush to 4.1!
• Upgrade: All people upgrading from 5.x-1.3 or earlier should carefully check if their roles configuration is correct after upgrading.
